Advanced Equine Comfort, LLC Launches Easy’s Slipper®

Innovative horseshoe alternative provides therapeutic benefits for horses

Highlands, NC – January 28, 2014 – Advanced Equine Comfort, LLC announced today the launch of a newly patented product, Easy’s Slipper® (patent number USD689,246S). The glue-on slipper is a flexible horseshoe alternative that provides therapeutic benefits by utilizing scientific data and innovative materials to protect and grow healthier hooves and happier horses.

Easy’s Slipper®, a lightweight glue-on made from flexible durable material, lasts the full six to eight week shoeing cycle. The slipper allows for the natural flexion of the hoof, while reducing pain and lameness. Additional therapeutic benefits include healthy hoof growth, as well as reduced pain, inflammation and stress to the ligaments, bones, joints and tendons. Regardless of the discipline, any horse can benefit from Easy’s Slipper® innovative horseshoe alternative.

“We have been waiting for this day for a long time,” said Sue Blair, founder and CEO, Advanced Equine Comfort, LLC. “My mission for the past 12 years has been to bring this horseshoe to life and to market. Our goal is to promote hoof health and create happier horses through this therapeutic, innovative slipper.”

Easy’s Slipper® provides shock absorption and vibration dissipation to improve joint and bone health, which encourages hoof growth, as well as improving the mental state of the horse. The superior shock absorbency decreases stress on the bones, ligaments and joints, allowing natural flexing of the hoof, resulting in enhanced blood flow and increased oxygenation of the horse’s body. The built-in rocker can be easily adjusted by a farrier for the desired breakover for proper movement and soundness. Easy’s Slipper® allows farriers, veterinarians, trainers, barn managers and horse owners to protect their horses hooves, providing an alternative to shoes currently available on today’s market.

“We have conducted extensive research and tests on Easy’s Slipper® through an independent research firm,” said Jack Conway, senior research analyst and vice president, Advanced Equine Comfort, LLC. “Summary results conclude that the Easy’s Slipper® Closed Bottom Slipper provides more reduction in force (shock absorption and vibration dissipation) than any sample tested.”
